Dear Sugar Land Citizens,
I want to share with you why I am running for City Council. I have called Sugar Land home for over 25 years. My husband served as a Sugar Land Police Officer for 30 years. We raised our children here. I am deeply invested in this community.
I have actively served on advisory committees to the city for over 12 years. Making a commitment to run for office is not to be taken lightly. Your next Council Member should be focused on all the issues facing our city, not just one or two things. I believe my professional, educational, and business experience, as well as extensive involvement in civic and community organizations, have prepared me to serve our city effectively.
I know what it’s like to raise a family here. I care about safety, taxes, traffic management, infrastructure, responsible development, home values and all the same things that you worry about.
Sugar Land is one of the most efficiently managed and desirable cities to live in the U.S. It is important that we make every effort to maintain and enhance the quality of life that we have come to know.
I respectfully ask for your support and your vote.
